TURANIUM

TURANIUM is a nearly indestructible element that crash-landed as a meteorite from outer space millennia ago into the Pannonian basin that would become respective parts of today's Austria, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Ukraine. The element severely impacted the environment of the Pannonian basin, enriching the soil and plant life, as well as the celestial technology of the above-mentioned regions. It was mined into malleable metal and was used extensively by the Siriusians of the Pannonian basin in their everyday lives, making Pannonia or what we call today Hungary the most technologically advanced country on Earth. Hungary became an isolationist nation and an illiberal state posing as a semi-peripheral country of Europe, in order to keep the existence of TURANIUM a secret, although it was discovered by researchers of the Curse of Turan throughout centuries. One of the most notorious researchers of the Curse of Turan and thus the quantum forces of TURANIUM was the 19th century Hungarian Romantic poet Mihly Vrsmarty, who claimed the following:

Men! said the Pannon god of bane in olden times
I bestow to you a happy land; you should fight for, if you want her.
So great, brave nations fought dauntlessly for her,
And the Magyar won a bloody victory at last.
Oh, but contention remained on the souls of the peoples: the land
Can never become happy under this curse.
